Since established in 2014, iota designs signature rugs, poufs, stools, home accessories and a swing collection, all hand made from our exclusive selection of yarns and featured in exhibitions, magazines and design blogs as: Dezeen, Sight unseen and others. As a social Business we provide work for underprivileged communities. Our hand work is carried out by women working from their homes. We teach them the skill and supply work for them. We believe in women empowerment and giving back to society. Our yarns are bespoke. Designed and produced exclusively by us, from highest quality cotton and polyester. They are a new, contemporary interpretation of luxury textile creating meticulous and one-of-a-kind furniture. We work with vast, bold color pallets and designs which convey both emotion and innovation. We tell a story through design. Our products are luscious, intricate and beautiful. They convey the narrative of their hand work and the story of our brand. Like the clothes we wear, telling of our identity and personalities, so are the spaces we dwell in.

Warli is the result of the encounter between a cooperative of artisans in northern India, carpet producers of traditional high quality and the curiosity of a Western designer. "I started drawing contemporary carpets in 1996, working on surfaces and 'decorating' stimulated me a lot. I was very fascinated and in some ways continued to be still today, how a great craft heritage could assume such high levels of quality as opposed to the more sophisticated industrial technologies. After collaborating for years with important Italian and Italian brands furniture and lighting, I thought I would use this experience to deal with production and marketing of products drawn by me through the creation of a new brand. Paolo Zani Warli works on signs and materials, how to translate them into tactile and chromatic surfaces. Work the rational Western design signs, revise the 'ethnic' ones, but also the 'poor ones', the celebration of the beauty of imperfect, impermanent and incomplete things. Our identity is the continuous contemporary pursuit of these artifacts, the expression of one's own vision of living, of an aesthetics of the everyday quality that we would like to find in the things that surround us.
